Dr. Yoav Leiser, MD,DMD,PHD - Immediate extraction and immediate loading of total jaws and the treatment of complications
There is a growing demand of dental patients to receive immediately loaded teeth at the time of surgery. In the past the treatment of total jaw extractions and immediate loading suffered from lack of predictability and high rate of failures.
With the advancement of current literature, the treatment of immediate loading is considered a predictable and reliable technique.
The surgeon and the rehabilitation dentist have a window of 10 days from the surgery to perform the loading in total jaws immediate loading.
The aim of the presented lecture is to review current literature regarding immediate loading and immediate extraction and bone grafting and to present several examples of cases which was treated using this technique.

Dr. Yoav Grossmann, Spesialist in Prostodonthics- Current trends in Implant-supported Prosthetics: Choosing between screw and cement- retained restorations
Both screw- and cement-retained implant-supported restorations are highly predictable in the rehabilitation of the partially and fully edentulous patient. However, there are advantages and disadvantages to these implant prosthodontic designs. The clinician should recognize the different indications for each prosthodontic option in order to achieve optimal outcome in a variety of clinical situations.
The lecture provides an overview of the different characteristics of screw- and cement-retained implant restorations, and how they influence parameters such as: esthetics, retrievability, retention, passivity, occlusion, and cost. This lecture highlights the use of updated innovated CAD/CAM technology for implant restorations.
