Alpha-Bio Tec, a world-leader in the design and production of innovative implant and prosthetic solutions that simplify dental implantology, has announced the signing of a contract for a new facility in Modi’in, located between Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. The property lease is for an 8000 sqm site which will significantly increase Alpha-Bio Tec’s current work area as well as bring all company activities including production, training and education under one roof.
The new site is scheduled to commence operations in Q3 2019. By doubling the production size and through automatization, among other measures, it will enable further growth through the inhouse sourcing of all processes and machining.
Hans Geiselhöringer, President of Nobel Biocare, said: "This is not only a major milestone in the Alpha-Bio Tec journey, but also an opportunity for us to further strengthen our customer offering of industry-leading implant brands. Since the acquisition by Nobel Biocare in 2008, Alpha-Bio Tec has achieved outstanding worldwide success, showing two-digit growth year on year. We believe that the significant investment in this new site will enhance the company’s work environment, open opportunities for additional growth and enable quicker response to the needs of customers, while maintaining world class quality standards.”
Yuval Grimberg, General Manager of Alpha-Bio Tec, added: “We welcome this investment and expression of trust and faith in Alpha-Bio Tec. The new facility supports our strategy, value proposition and fast growth. It is a strategic step which will help us build our people, teams and organization, enable us to grow, better meet customer needs and achieve our future goals.”
