In this webinar we will discuss various surgical procedure with the potential to develop a complication. The speaker present different cases that developed to life threatening situations and understand how these situations could be avoided. Most of the cases were treated in a private setting as routine surgical procedures and eventually needed a more complex management. The topics discussed are bleeding, infections, implantology complication, MRONJ, Oral cancer and other miscellaneous cases.
Meet the speaker
Dr M.Abba is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He graduated Tel Aviv University in 2004 and completed his residency in maxillofacial surgery and a fellowship In salivary gland surgery . He is an attending surgeon at the oral and maxillofacial department at Barzilai Medical centre in Ashkelon, Israel and has a private practice limited to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr.M.Abba has gained a vast experience in oral implantology and bone grafting. His main interests are oral and maxillofacial trauma, implantology and bone grafting, sinus lift complications and management and salivary gland diseases. Dr. M.Abba has participated in numerous advanced training courses around the world and spent two months of fellow training in the OMS department in LMU in Munich, Germany. He has lectured nationally and internationally in various subjects in oral and maxillofacial surgery and implantology. He is involved in research and residents training and is a co-author of the book “Minimal invasive oral and maxillofacial surgery”.
